Editor walkthrough

Entry point / Chat Page

4 main sections:

  1. Left navigation bar: The left sidebar. Here you can access all pages inside the editor. In order:

    1. Chat

    2. Tasks

    3. Codebase

    4. Web deployment

    5. Environment variables

  2. Chat: Here you can talk to Teta, describe your ideas and tell her what to do. Review the “AI Actions and Automation” page to understand some tricks for talking better with Teta.

  3. Web preview: You can review and use your application in a Web version. If you are using a Teta Desktop application, the preview will be built and run on your local device (and you must have Flutter installed). On the other hand, if you use Teta on the web, the application will be built on our cloud and no configuration will be required.

  4. Console / Errors and Warnings panel: You can review all the logs of the app in real time, also checking for errors and warnings detected in the code / at runtime.

You can choose the size of each section by dragging its limits.

Tasks Page

Here you can review all tasks (and their state) generated by the Product Manager. You can delete the one you don't like.

Codebase Page

Inside this page, you can review the entire codebase. Plus:

  1. You can open the folder on your local device (Desktop app only) and push local changes made in an external IDE (eg. VS Code - Desktop app only).

  2. Review all past codebase versions (commits)

  3. Add / change the current branch

  4. Edit the code directly inside Teta (both Web / Desktop versions)

Web Deployment Page

On this page you can deploy your application to the web with a single click:

  1. Add a web slug (subdomain)

  2. Web Deployment.

After the deployments have started, you can review all the deployments (clicking on them will redirect you to their status page).

After a few minutes, you will be able to visit your fully functioning application on the Web.

Of course, you can add a custom domain.

Environment Variables Page

On this page you can define all the variables of the application. They are injected into the application by the 'dart-define' command. Do not add server-side secrets; this page is intended only for client-side variables.
