Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Teta (the "Service"), operated by Onda Teta Srl, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Teta is an AI-powered app builder that enables users to create SvelteKit web applications through natural language prompts. The Service provides:

  • AI agents (powered by Anthropic Claude) that generate, modify, and debug code on your behalf.
  • Cloud-based development sandboxes (powered by E2B) with live preview, VS Code editor, and console access.
  • One-click deployment to hosting providers (Vercel).
  • Project management, team collaboration, and version history.

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account via Google OAuth or email sign-up. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security and confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • All activities that occur under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. AI-Generated Content and Disclaimer

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate code and application content based on your prompts. By using the Service, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI is not infallible. AI-generated code is provided "as-is" and may contain errors, bugs, security vulnerabilities, performance issues, or logical flaws. These errors are inherent to the nature of AI technology and are not attributable to Onda Teta Srl.
  • You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, validating, and auditing all AI-generated code before deploying it to any environment, including production. Failure to do so is entirely at your own risk.
  • AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or not fit for your specific purpose. The AI may misinterpret your prompts or produce unintended results.
  • AI-generated code may inadvertently introduce security vulnerabilities (such as XSS, SQL injection, insecure authentication, or data exposure). Onda Teta Srl is not responsible for any security incidents resulting from unreviewed AI-generated code.
  • We do not guarantee that AI-generated code will be free of third-party intellectual property claims. You are responsible for ensuring your projects comply with applicable licenses and copyright laws.
  • Your prompts and project context are processed by third-party AI providers (Anthropic) subject to their own terms, policies, and limitations. We have no control over the behavior, accuracy, or availability of these AI models.
  • Onda Teta Srl does not endorse, verify, or take responsibility for the content, functionality, or purpose of applications built by users on the platform.

5. Ownership and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain full ownership of the applications, code, and content you create using Teta. You may use, modify, distribute, and commercialize your projects without restriction.

Our Service: The Teta platform, including its interface, features, AI integrations, and underlying technology, remains the exclusive property of Onda Teta Srl. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Service itself.

Feedback: Any suggestions or feedback you provide about the Service may be used by us to improve the platform without obligation to you.

6. Credits and Billing

  • The Service operates on a credit-based system. Each AI interaction, build, and deployment consumes credits.
  • Free tier users receive a limited number of starter credits. Paid plans offer higher credit allowances.
  • Credits reset monthly according to your billing cycle. Unused credits do not roll over.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@teta.so for refund requests.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate malicious software, malware, or code designed to harm systems or users.
  • Create applications that distribute illegal content or facilitate illegal activities.
  • Build projects that promote, incite, or glorify violence, terrorism, self-harm, or any form of abuse.
  • Create applications that promote discrimination, racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, xenophobia, ableism, or hatred against any individual or group based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, credit systems, or security measures.
  • Abuse AI agents by submitting prompts designed to extract proprietary information about the Service.
  • Overload the Service with automated requests or denial-of-service attacks.
  • Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

8. Cloud Sandboxes and Deployment

  • Development sandboxes are temporary cloud environments. Sandboxes for inactive projects may be reclaimed, though project data is preserved and can be restored.
  • Deployed applications run on third-party infrastructure (e.g., Vercel) and are subject to those providers' terms and resource limits.
  • We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or costs of third-party hosting services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Onda Teta Srl, its directors, employees, partners, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or reputation resulting from AI-generated code, service downtime, or sandbox unavailability.
  • Any damage, loss, or harm caused by deploying AI-generated code to production, staging, or any other environment, regardless of whether the code was reviewed.
  • Errors, inaccuracies, vulnerabilities, or defects in AI-generated code, which are attributable to the inherent limitations of AI technology and not to Onda Teta Srl.
  • Any claims, lawsuits, or legal actions brought against you by third parties as a result of applications you built, deployed, or distributed using the Service.
  • The content, behavior, legality, or impact of applications created by users on the platform. Users bear full responsibility for their projects and their consequences.
  • Actions, failures, outages, or data breaches of third-party services integrated with the platform (including but not limited to Anthropic, E2B, Stripe, Vercel, and Supabase).
  • Loss of data or project files due to sandbox reclamation, infrastructure issues, or service discontinuation.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Onda Teta Srl in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as-is" and "as-available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of AI outputs.

Without limiting the foregoing, Onda Teta Srl specifically does not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
  • AI-generated code will be correct, complete, secure, performant, or suitable for any particular use case.
  • AI-generated code will comply with applicable laws, regulations, or industry standards in your jurisdiction.
  • The results obtained from using the Service will meet your expectations or requirements.
  • Any errors in AI-generated code will be identified or corrected by the Service.

You use the Service and any AI-generated output entirely at your own risk. Onda Teta Srl strongly recommends that all code be independently reviewed, tested, and validated by qualified professionals before any production use.

11. User Responsibility for Deployed Software

You are solely and entirely responsible for all applications you create, deploy, and distribute using Teta. This includes, without limitation:

  • Ensuring your applications comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations, including data protection (GDPR, CCPA), consumer protection, and accessibility standards.
  • The security, reliability, and correctness of your deployed applications and any data they collect, process, or store.
  • Obtaining any necessary licenses, permits, or authorizations required for your applications.
  • Handling user data within your applications in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
  • Any harm, damage, or loss caused to third parties by your applications.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Onda Teta Srl from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from applications you build or deploy using the Service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your project data before termination takes effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
